allyport House is
in a quiet and secluded place just a few minutes walk from Kenmare town
centre. This elegant country house is uniquely laid out with lawns
and trees overlooking the harbour and with panoramic views of Kenmare Bay
and surrounding mountains.
The house was built by the Arthur family in 1932, as their family residence, and has been owned by the Arthur family ever since. Sallyport House derives its name from a stretch of the Kenmare river which is adjacent to the house. The bedrooms are elegantly furnished with antiques, King and Queen size beds, direct dial telephones, colour TV's and large en-suite bathrooms.
